The Tripping Yogi
As many people do, I came to yoga very reluctantly. I was scared of the crazy yoga poses I saw in the media.
My mind was very determined not to like it. Yet my body betrayed my mind, and felt differently. After my fourth class I fell in love with yoga. Within six-months I became a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher.
Since my first yoga class, yoga has been a life changing journey for me. I have had the pleasure of teaching yoga, yoga related workshops and retreats for 23 years.
I'm a Hatha based teacher and a continual student of the ever-evolving styles of yoga. I consider my classes a playful practice that newbies to practicing yogis can enjoy. I understanding yoga can be confusing and scary for people.
My mission is to help my students bring the five core aspects of yoga into their lifestyle in a way that suits them best:
• Yoga Poses (Asanas)
• Focused Breathing (Pranayama)
• Deep Relaxation (Savasana)
• Diet and Nutrition
• Meditation and Positive thinking.
To help them exercise and practice yoga within the capabilities of their bodies. They improve their overall physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
I believe yoga is a practice of the body, mind and spirit that heightens your sense of gratitude and appreciation to enjoy life to the fullest.
